Becoming a Deerfield Volunteer Fire Company Volunteer Firefighter requires no prior experience, as we provide all the necessary training. We’re excited to guide you through each step, ensuring your transition into the role is as smooth as possible.

How To Join
Application Process
If you are interested in becoming a Volunteer Firefighter, please do the following:
- Download and complete the member application.
- Drop off at Trenton Rd. Firehouse
After your application is received, we will be in contact to begin the next steps:
- Meet with Chief and Committee
- Vote by Membership
- Vote by the Fire Commissioners
If you are voted in as a new member, the following steps begin:
- Placed on 6 months to 1 year probation
- Upon successful completion of probation, you will fulfill a calling of the utmost brother/sister-hood!
