 It is with great sorrow that we list these names of our fallen or departed brothers.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to their families with a wish for peace in their lives.
     Each of the individuals below have dedicated themselves to Deerfield Fire Company and have touched its members in their own unique way and will be sadly missed.

 Fireman's Prayer

  When I am called to duty, GOD, when ever flames may rage,

Give me strenght to save some life, whatever be its age.

Help me embrace a little child, before it is too late,

Or save an older person from the horror of that fate.

Emable me to be alert, and hear the weakest shout,

And quickly and effeciently to put the fire out.

I want to fill my calling and to give the best of me,

To guard my every neighbor and protect their property.

And if according to my fate I am to lose my life,

Please bless with your protecting hand, my family and my friends
